AIR CONDITIONER PULLEY/BRACKET CONVERSION

1956 GOLDEN HAWK


  1. Left bracket fastens to where the generator was, on exhaust manifold. This bracket holds the Sanden modern Air Conditioner compressor which aligns & belts to the cast aluminum pulley (bottom right)
  2. Bracket to the right holds Delco approximately 100 amp alternator, hinged on black bolt (left) and adjusting strap on the right.
  3. Also included is an offset oil filler pipe, necessary to miss the alternator.

All part numbers given are NAPA numbers.
Alternator belt goes around the water pump and harmonic balancer.		 Rear View

A/C bracket bolts to right exhaust manifold where old generator was mounted.

Harmonic shown is pulley #1, for the water pump and generator.
Not shown, pulley #2, is stamped steel for power steering pump.
Cast Aluminum (my pulley) is #3 for A/C compressor.
